a friend of mine bought this really thin and really cute remington hair straightener and it works wonders.i've got thick, coarse hair and they made my hair look thin and delicate.plus the heat up time adjusts to as little as 1 minute.look on the net or in an argos catalogue for any remington straighteners.they're really goodWhat are the best hair straighteners to buy in UK? I think GHDs are the best you can get in my personal opinion. Mind you I have had 2 pairs which have broke, both times the cable went funny and the connection went a bit dodgy. Have to admit though GHD dealt with it really well and both times they sent me a brand new pair within a matter of days. Stick with GHD and send the broken ones back.
sorry but GHD's are the ultimate straightners, you cant get any better, i have had mine for almost 4 years and they are still in good condition.

You may have a faulty one! take them back, as they should not break at all!
take it to shop and get money back then
you've broken GHD's how??
I have the worst curly hair and the only things that work are GHD's. Have you tried contacting them and telling them. My first pair broke and they were aces. Got free shampoo's and stuff for my throuble and a brand new set of GHD's.
Babyliss PRO230's without a shadow of a doubt.

Check out the hype on Amazon. They even do cordless ones, and ones with wider plates, which was a God send for me!

I have tried GHD's before and NO they were not fake. The truth is, I know many people who have had to replace their GHD's far more often than they have replaced any other straighteners they have ever owned.

I have tried EVERY straightener made practically, and every other Babyliss product, and I have to say, that the 230'S are magic.

They keep my curly hair straight and you can control the temperature.

Seriously, give them a go, they sell them in Boots and they have a three year guarantee. I have had mine for nearly a year and they are still perfect!
Chi or Sedu.
you may have brought fake ghds i got ghds a month ago and there amazing my hair stays strait so much longer
DONT DROP THEM THEN
i have remington wet 2 straight nano gold ones and they're great even on my thick hair.
my JMLS from woolworths have lasted me 5 years and there still going strong, they cost a whole of 20 pounds!!
