Im asking for a flatiron for Christmas and i was wondering which is the best type? (cost doesn't matter) My hair is naturally wavy but not crazy wavy, and its pretty damaged from my piece of crap zoe straightener. Ive heard the chi is pretty good, but it breaks fast, Ive also heard that the Sedu is pretty good too. I would like a flatiron that makes my hair shiny less brittle and not frizzy. ThanksWhat is the best hair straightener? ?
A Sedu or Ozon hair straightener!
Both the Sedu and the Ozon hair contains tourmaline, ceramic, and titanium plates which will make your hair shiny, healthy, and does not damage it as much.
I used to own a Conair ';Tourmaline/Ceramic'; straightener before I upgraded it to a Sedu 1'; and it's amazing! There's such a difference.. before with my Conair, my hair would not hold up in the humidity.. how it's super straight and its just amazing.
As for the Ozon, my friend owns one.. she loves it because it works just as well at the Sedu.
Folica.com is offering a FREE Sedu Revolution Shorter Straightener (6';) right now plus free shipping.. so your total would be around $108
ozonhair.com is the website for the other one. The sedu has a two year warranty but the ozon hair has one.
Don't go for the cheap drugstore brands. they'll only ruin your hair.
Also, the CHI does not have adjustable heat setting.. and breaks easily.
Remember to always use a heat protection spray like S-Factor, Tressemme Heat Tamer Spray, got2b crazy sleek, Nexxus Heat Spray, Fantasia Straightening Serum, Chi silk infusion, etc.
Check out this video.. look at the amazing difference

Definitely GHD, the chi sucks, its really drying and poorly made, you'll end up buying another within 3 months (if your lucky). The Sedu revolution would be my second choice. My friend has one and its pretty good, it has great features.
Nothing compares to GHD. This iron makes my hair smooth and shiny its incredible. I dont even find that it damages my hair (it probably is a bit, but it really really doesnt seem like it). It senses the porosity of your hair and only uses the amount of heat needed to straighten the hair. So your hair doesnt end up fried, i never have to run it over the section im straightening more than twice to get it straight, and it doesnt make my hair smell burnt like the chi did, and it makes great curls too and comes with a dvd to show you how to do it!
I love GHD ill never use anything else
I think bed and hed Straightener if your hair is medium weight use the blue straightener if your hair is kinda heavy use the pink straightener. This is also good too because it has a great styling tips you can do and also it attracts your attention because it lights up in different colors.
Cost for blue is 69.99
Cost for pink is 79.99 or I saw on sale at walgreen for 59.99
Tip: Before you straighten your hair use a little bit of gloss-er like one or two dots to give it a extra fizz free and beautiful healthy shine :)
Hope you find the right one!
Hope my advice was a little help for your situation.
I hear you girl
I have that shity straightener and
im getting a GVP since i cant
get a sedu yet. I suggest a sedu if
you dont have a budget. And if you
do have a budget get a GVP straightener
from sallys its 49.99 on sale.
And use parkway avenue straight balm
it helps keep it straight and smooth.
All from sallys. But the sedu is from folica.
Both are good straighteners. The sedu Helps keep
the hair follicle cased in without breakage.
I use Herbal Essences ';Long Relationships'; (it's a cream) I use that when I get out of the shower, and when my hair is dry I love using my CHI. always use something before you flatiron your hair. It will protect your hair.
In my opinion you should focus on GHD. Thats the best hair straightener these day.
conair (the yello and black one) has a very tight hold and takes out frizz really well plus its only 14 bucks.. but the other conair ones dont work
Well GHD is definitely best out there!
But I got my Tresemme flat real cheap and it suits me just fine :)
