Best hair straighteners?

I currently have GHD's but I find that i have to go ove rmy hair a lot of times for it to stay straight, which is doing a lot of damage. Can anyone recommend any good ones that will make my hair stay stright?

My hair is fine but curlyBest hair straighteners?
As a stylist, I have used a lot of flat irons/hair straighteners, including Sedu, Hai, Infrashine, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Solia, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss Ghd, T3, Kenta etc. You should get a Professional hair straightener, they style much better and faster, and most importantly, they protect your hair.

In terms of performance:

The best ones are: Sedu, Kenta, Solia, Infrashine, Ghd. These are top of the line professional brands

Above average: Chi, Hai, Paul Mitchell,

Average: T3, Big Sexy, Andis, Babyliss

Below Average: Conair, Vidal Sassoon, Revlon, Bed Head etc. These are cheap consumer brands that you will find in drugstore. If you care about your hair, do NOT buy them.

=== Tips for buying professional hair appliances ===

Do NOT buy professional hair appliances from unauthorized places like amazom.com, eBay, Target, Walmart, etc. Because if you do, manufacturers will refuse to honor the warranty. Buy from licensed places like salon, licensed professional beauty stores like Folica.com, Ulta.com, West Coast Beauty Supply Inc. etcBest hair straighteners?
GHD's are the best and you should be using a heat protection spray or loreal spray on your hair 1st. my ghds straighten my hair pretty much 1st time, perhaps your taking too big a section of hair to straighten or you are gliding it over the section too quickly? Good Luck
a chi is the best out there.

they are a lil expensive but they work the best.

i have thick wavey hair and my sister has thick curly hair,so i know it works good ono both types :]
I have curly hair and I use a Sedu...

You should check it out.. its GREAT!

but whatever you do, DO NOT get a CHI.

Good Luck!
GHD is the best maybe you should consider using products like loreal stay straight serum, rub it in your hair before straightening and the results are amazing, i think its hair products like that not your straightener cuz the GHD is the best
phillips ceramic straighteners are great!! they make ur hair perfectly straight
GHD's are the best it lasts all day sometimes the next too

also use heat protection

I use treseme heat defence it lasts for ages
GHDs are the best you can buy, you must have quite thick hair, you can get GHDs now that have a bigger paddle on them spesh for thick hair. don't forget your heat protection spray and also the slower you do it the straighter your hair is and will stay.
There is a new one called Babyliss. It has like 4 different temperature choices, lower for the finer hair, all the way up for ethnic hair. I have medium hair, and a lot of it, and I use the 3rd setting. It's great! I takes me half the time of my other flat irons, and it's easy to hold, too. I think they carry it at RDA, if you have one where you live. Contact your hairstylist and see what company they order supplies from. In fact, there is a duo out right now that includes the iron and a hair dryer! I love mine!
I am a hair stylist and beleive ghd straightners are the best on the market.Try sectioning your hair with clips and just staightening small sections this will help it to stay in longer and always remember to use protective heat spray every time so you don't damage your hair ! give it a go good luck!!
I like Braun's Professional Ceramic Straightener

It works very well for me!
Paul Mitchell just released a new one. It's called Express Ion. i used it for the first time the other day and i was amazed by it. one slow pass is all you need. ghd's are great but not the best. try Sedu if you can't find the new Paul Mitchell Express Ion anywhere. hai convertable is good too, you can find them on ebay for about $60. definitely avoid chi.
before you straighten your hair you should use a heat protection spray.
CHI is a good one.

Its around 100 dollars. But it works good.
babyliss

is good
i use the wet to straight one. adn i have thick curly hair and it works perfect for me!!!
Maybe you have an old style of GHDs or they are just not working? GHDs are considered to be the best hair straightner ever made, i used a friends once ans my hair stayed straight for two days no joke! Babyliss to good hair straighteners thoug.

I use Babybliss Pro. My hairstylists and others recommend them, moost stylists use it, so you need to buy it at the salon.
