What are the best hair straighteners on the market today?

I've heard CHI, Solia, and GHD are the best brands, but is that just because they are the most expensive? Are they really worth the price? What are the best hair straighteners on the market today?
Definitely! I would personally go with CHI. It does what it claims to to (straighten your hair) %26amp; even sprials %26amp; curls if you want it to. It's worth the price because unlike other cheap brands, it won't damage your hair or dry it out (or cause split ends and breakage). It's definitely money worth spending! After all, it is your hair ;] What are the best hair straighteners on the market today?
Sedu kills all of them.

No. GHD's are the best by far. I have very thick coarse hair and I can say that GHD's work the best for that only because they heat up more than other straighteners. If you don't have very thick curly hair yu could opt for the other. GHD's are good but not exactly the best for hair since they have a very high temperature. House of Fraser have started selling another brand which are also good and you can adjust the heat temp on them but i would still go for GHD! You can go in store and ask them or do a search on their website. So I think GHD is worth every penny! G'luck!
CHI is by far the best.

i had a revlon hair straightner and it didn't do too much, but my friend has a CHI and her's works faster and makes hair so smooth and nice. (best to use with the chi pre-iron products)

most CHIs come with rebates too, and that can knock off at least $20 from the price.

VIDAL SASSOON

omg it works really good I have it, its not expensive I got it at Target for like $30.00 really cheap, its the one with the gold plates, the ones that suck is ConAir, famous brand, but there straighteners suck! :]
the best straightener i have ever used is the conair infinity. i have tried chi and did not like them. this one works better and is like $60 less! it really is a great deal.
GHD's are very good!!

CHI, are okayy

not used Solia though]

Vibe hair straighteners where the best i have ever used, though!!
Chi is a really, really good straightener.

Usually you can buy them on ebay or online for much cheaper.

It's worth the price, trust me!! (:
i have to say CHI... all the celebs have one, and look how beautiful their hair turns out to be!
i think i've heard that chi is best too (or anyway, the red ones are)
chi really is amazing. it heats quickly, straightens perfectly, and leaves ur hair REALLY soft

i highly suggest them
sedu
