Which do you reckon are the 2nd best hair straighteners?

I know that GHD are the best, I want to hear other opinions!Which do you reckon are the 2nd best hair straighteners?
The market is flooded with a lot of good hair straighteners. The main features to look for in any brand are:

1) Ceramic coated or solid ceramic plates. Note that the ceramic coating wears off over time, but this does not overly affect the performance of a hair iron.

2) Ceramic heating element. This allows a hair straightener to heat up in a matter of seconds. Cheaper irons don't have this and can take up to 90 secionds to get hot enough to use.

3) Variable heat up to 220 degrees. Hair irons rely on extreme temperatures to straighten hair effectively. The lower temperature irons may not perform as well.

Great alternatives to GHD's are Hair Tools, Remington (excellent low budget irons) and GA.MA's.Which do you reckon are the 2nd best hair straighteners?
JML straighteners are good they do the same job as ghds but are only £20 and dont damage your hair as much as ghds hope this helped xxxx
i have a chi. even though it was expensive (over $100), it has lasted me over a year and a half (or maybe longer?). all my other straighteners from wal-mart (like conair, remington, etc) stopped working within 6 months. i seriously went through 15 straighteners before i bought my chi. and so even though i spent more money, in the long run, i will save it because i'm not buying straighteners every other day!!!!
My girlfriend wanted me to get GHD's but I read a few reviews and found that SCP had good professional reviews for their model range. As they are very reasonably priced I gave it a go and she was more than satisfied with the results she can achieve. I ordered hers through - http://www.hairstuffdirect.co.uk/... They were rapidly despatched and she has had no problems with them for nearly 2 years.
Remington Wet n' Curl are just as good.
babyliss pro 230 are amazing and unlike ghd's dont have a bad reputation for blowing up.
i have tried the best, but every time keep going back to good old futura.
tried the others but they arnt very good ghd are the best
mine! called T3 100% tourmaline power .My hair is very thick and curly. They cost me about £100,but its the best money ive ever spent! Bought them from the hair salon that i go to.My sister got some GHD,she thinks mine are just as good as hers, but cheaper and without the name!
omg
I've got a pair of Nicky Clarke ones, they are pretty good.
wet to strait is the best and it doesn't coast to much
